The American Bar Association defended its decision to walk away from a book deal with Chinese lawyer Teng Biao, telling skeptical U.S. lawmakers that the move was strictly business.

    wow, that is a bunch of crap that the ABA is spewing out. it was caught redhanded with that email and "miscommunication" is the best they come up with? nice try. teng should publish it with a mass retail publishing house and laugh in the ABA‘s face when the book becomes a bestseller.

    I hope that Mr. Teng will consider submitting his book to an ABA section magazine for possible publication in serial form. Those magazines do not have the same economic considerations that ABA says it has. At least in that way Mr. Teng can test ABA‘s explanation for its rescission.
